The car is all packed up and I am back on the road for the summer. I had a great five days in Orlando, where I was able to spend time with my coach Sean Foley. We worked on a few things in my golf swing in regards to club position on the backswing. It is incredible the increased awareness that I gain every time I work with Sean. Pit stop right now in Gainesville, FL (home of the University of Florida). Destination tonight is Fayatteville, GA for this weeks Hooter’s Tour event – the start of 5 weeks in a row!

Played the Fresh Express Classic Nationwide Tour Qualifier today. I played hit the ball well all day, but made two poor swing on the front nine leading to back to back double bogies and a round of 75. I am really encouraged about what I am working on and looking forward to the tournaments ahead! I am spending the night with my boy Andrew Parr, who just moved up to San Francisco. It will be great to spend time with him and enjoy a night in one of my favorite cities!

I have just finished my third week of a four-week stretch of tournaments. I started with the second Hooter’s Tour event of the year, in Ocala, FL at the Golden Hills Golf and Turf Club. Golden Hills is probably the best mini-tour course that I have ever played. It is a very demanding layout – with tight tree lined fairways and firm and fast green surfaces. I shot 73, 73 and missed the cut by one shot. I actually played very well for the most part, I just made too many sloppy bogies over the two days...
